Next week, the first Australian-made, Australian-launched rocket is set to lift off from Queensland, carrying a jar of Vegemite.

It’s the latest attempt to accelerate Australia’s position in an increasingly ambitious global space race.

But for some, it’s less about venturing out into the great unknown and more about what might already be visiting Earth.
