You would, wouldn’t you?

A short and sharp curiosities this week.

You will have no doubt seen that KPMG and Ernst and Young are in a bit of trouble right now. There’s a litany of issues there, and we’re not here to defend either (unless they’d like to pay crisis rates, of course).

But one story did particularly catch the eye. EY fired two young men for accessing the Prime Minister’s bank account while working with Commonwealth Bank.

This is obviously an incredibly serious breach of privacy and security, and is being treated as such by law enforcement.

But also. 

You’re 21. You’ve chosen a career in management consulting for some godforsaken reason. Somewhat bizarrely, you’ve been given the necessary access. No one is looking at your screen. You would, wouldn’t you?
